Aves International is a network of reliable professionals with extensive international work experience founded by Poul Spierings. In Aves International, Aves (BIRDS) stands for spreading your wings and International refers to international organizations, teams and other cultures.
Poul Spierings – Founding partner
As Managing Director, Poul Spierings has always had the challenge in international organizations to have people work as one team.
He specializes in regional, cross-cultural professional team leadership in global, complex and challenging environments. With special attention to strategy development and operational execution, rationalization, change and innovation management.
He has worked for listed companies and private / family businesses. International experience has been gained in Asia and especially in India as a member of the executive leadership team of a listed company in India.
He has designed a division in which two independent companies in the Netherlands and India are integrated into one division. He has renovated and modernized production sites in India, including building new research laboratory, factories and warehouses and has invested a lot of time in training and education of employees. He also lived and worked in Singapore for a number of years to set up a new laboratory and regional headquarters.
He has experience with M&A activities for which he has worked on projects in India, China, the Netherlands and America.
